Alumni & Faculty News – Eli Sudbrak, Amin Husain, Nitasha Dhillon, Jean Marie Casbarian, Sofia Cordova

Eli Sudbrak GS99 in his capacity as a member of Assume Vivid Astro Focus has designed three pieces for the Contemporary Art Center Cincinnati, for the interior and exterior of the building.

Amin Husain GS10 and Nitasha Dhillon GS10 along with other members of Gulf Labor are part of the 2015 Venice Biennale, in the exhibition All the World’s Futures, curated by ICP adjunct curator Okwui Enwezor, May 5 – November 22.

Faculty member Jean Marie Casbarian is one of the readers of On Kawara’s “One Million Years” at the Guggenheim Museum, featured here in Blouin Art Info.

Sofia Cordova GS05 is in conversation with Christian Nagler at RTS Talks, Oakland, CA, March 27.

Egan Frantz GS08 is featured in “10 Picks from Independent Art Fair 2015” in Interview.

Yuki Shingai GS11 won the grand prize (amateur) for her photo essay “Higan” in the PDN World in Focus The Ultimate Travel Photography Competition

MATA Interval Presents: I/O: An Evening of Multimedia Performance curated by Alex Nathanson for the Museum of the Moving Image, March 7, is featured in Art F City in “This Week’s Must-see Art Events: Edit Your Heart Out”.

Alex Nathanson GS09 is featured in “Experimental Sound at the Museum of Museum Image” in OMNI Reboot.

The Three Traumas curated by Jorge Alberto Perez MFA12 with Teresa LoJacono MFA12 at the Camera Club of New York, and Developed: Three Emerging Photographers with Ayumi Tanaka GS10 at United Photo Industries are featured in Feature Shoot “Feature Shoot Recommends Top 10 Photo Events and Happenings in New York March 2-8“.
